Fluid mixing.

Hi all,

Trust you well.
I have a 2013 Caponord 1200 road spec, i was heading back home from work last Friday and after a few km the bike went onto three cylinders and has mixed the oil and water and leaked a fair amount out from a breather pipe near the top left hand side. The temp stayed on 3 bars as normal with the fan on and off like standard.
Has anyone has this issue and any suggestions ?
The matter is rather urgent please...

Regards,
Jarryd.

G'day Jarryd.

It's been a while since I owned my Capo 1200 TP........ and I shall resist the urge to mention it was a twin.......

I assume you just made a typo in your haste for advice..... if your radiator coolant and engine oil has mixed then you have a major issue.

Perhaps with a 1200 Caponord motor it might be the seal in the water pump, but I'm no expert here, other than to say oil in coolant is terminal if you keep riding no matter what brand.

Afraid it's off to the mechanic you trust to diagnose properly and hopefully repair at minimum expense.

Best wishes from Australia
