G'day Andy,

Some like the Scott oiler but some also like the Tutoro (from memory) as it doesn't require cutting into vacuum lines or electrical wires.

Also the Tutoro is a lot cheaper, and it works by letting oil drip onto the chain when the bike is moving (Scott oiler would do the same but requires cutting into the bikes systems).

There might be some threads on the AF1 forum...... I didn't fit a chain oiler as I am used to using spray lube (Castrol Chain Lube is the one I've used for 40 years) and getting huge mileages from chain & sprocket (but I don't live with snow covered roads and it doesn't seem to rain anymore here in Aus)........

G'day Mate.

I'm beginning to think there's only me and you on this site...

I looked at the xSystem scottoiler as it's just electronic, no need to cut into the vacuum. I've looked at the Tutoro standard kit which looks like good value for money at 78 lovely English Pounds.. Especially as it's easier than having to spray the chain all the time.

Think I'll order the Tutoro and see how that works.

Enjoy the sunshine.. We could always send you some rain, just let me know.

Cheers Andy,

Rain would be good...... the evening news is full of reports of huge fires raging down south of Sydney (very dry and high winds = disaster).

We are still green here but it hasn't rained for months and no doubt there is a high fire risk out in the country areas.

This forum was always a quiet one..... most use the AF1 sponsored site because they have developed some expertise with Caponord 1200's - most issues have been covered, but they are sometimes lost in the huge number of threads posted....... There's lots of photo's and info about accessories too......
