Hi mate, I got the Arrow exhaust new with my bike a few days ago. Bit expensive at 700 but looks the part and weighs a lot less. Not that impressed with the sound though, it's not very loud but that may be because of the pipes on my old bike.
Does anyone know if the Arrow has a removable baffle?

I'm not sure as I got the pipe with the bike brand new. Certainly can't fault it though and it looks a million times better in my opinion. It's loud when you rev it but not at idle.
It's a lot less weight too. I reckon you could get a cheaper one that would be louder....GPR make one. I had a GPR pipe on a R1200gs which sounded lovely but the finish is not as good as the Arrow. Hope you find one.

GPR: quite loud, but nice Sound, no more exhaust valve, much lighter than stock, burns the stock bags, expect a remarkable power loss.

Hi,

How do you rate the GPR exhaust?, I am a bit worried about buying one after reading a post saying, they suffered power loss.

Thanks

Daz

I've had a GPR for a couple of months. Looks and sounds much better than the stocker. Haven't noticed any drop (or increase) in performance, but I don't push it that hard anyway. The only issue with any aftermarket pipe is that the stock pipe has an internal valve that requires disconnecting. Unless you get the ECU retuned, you will get periodic warning lights about the EFI.
At the time of my purchase, there were a very limited range of cans available - this should increase as exhaust manufacturers get up to speed, but GPR appears to be as good as any
